Urgent Turnaround Available

Frozen section results are communicated intraoperatively. Urgent biopsies (suspected malignancy, immunocompromised patients) are prioritised for same-business-day reporting. Contact our lab directly to flag urgent cases.

Surgical Pathology

Excisions, resections, and biopsies from all anatomical sites. Margin assessment, staging, and prognostic grading.

Skin excisions reported same-day when received before 12 pm.

Dermatopathology

Melanocytic lesions, inflammatory skin conditions, appendageal tumours, and Mohs margin assessment.

3,800+ melanocytic cases reviewed annually.

Gastrointestinal

Colonic biopsies, Barrett's surveillance, gastric biopsies, H. pylori grading, and IBD activity scoring.

Preferred provider for 12 gastroenterology practices in Sydney.

Immunohistochemistry

Full IHC panel capabilities on-site. Receptor profiling (ER, PR, HER2), Ki-67 index, PDL-1 scoring, and mismatch repair protein analysis.

180+ antibody clones available in-house.

Gynaecological

Cervical biopsies, endometrial sampling, ovarian tumour typing, and placental pathology.

Second Opinion

Independent review of existing slides and reports. Frequently requested for melanoma, lymphoma, and soft tissue tumour diagnoses.

No GP referral required for self-referred second opinions.

Intraoperative Frozen Section

Results communicated to theatre within 10–15 minutes of specimen receipt. Available for affiliated hospitals — contact us to arrange.
